"Complaint of cassette player to the manager of shop"

Dear Mr.John,

I am writing to complain a cassette player that I bought from your shop last night. When I used the cassette player for the first time in my room it didn't work. I felt regrettable. Although the cassette player was brand new and costly, it didn't fend to me that value. I sent the cassette player back to your shop after having been assured by one of the assistants that I would be sent a refund.
However, I still have not received one. As a regular customer of yours, I feel disappointed with the way I have been treated and hope that steps will be taken to rectify the situation.
